Current Situation
Argentina is located in South America, it is bordered by Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile. Argentina has the highest human development index in South America, and the second highest GDP per capita for this region. Argentina is classed as an upper-middle income country by the World Bank. According to the Economist magazine, concerns are starting to appear surrounding the president, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and this could have some effects on the economy, if she persists with her policies, also economic growth is predicted to be relatively low for 2010.
