Biography
Freundel Stuart was born in Saint Philip, Barbados, in 1951. He is the current Prime Minister of Barbados. He studied at the University of the West Indies, where he obtained a degree in Political Science and also a degree in Law. He succeeded David Thompson as acting Prime Minister in May 2010, and eventually became Prime Minister in October 2010, when David Thompson died of cancer.
