Current Situation
Bulgaria is located in the Balkans, it is bordered by Romania, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece and Turkey. Bulgaria is a member of the European Union and NATO. Bulgaria's economy is growing steadily, but inflation and corruption remain a problem. The budget gap is also extremely wide and far below EU standards.
