Biography
Philemon Yang was born in Jikejem-Oku, Cameroon, in 1947. He is the current Prime Minister of Cameroon. He studied law at the University of Yaounde. He joined politics in 1975, and held several high level posts before being named Cameroon's ambassador to Canada in 1984 until 2004. In 2004 he returned and served again in a high-level post for the Cameroon government and was eventually named prime minister in 2009.
