Biography:


Francois Bozize was born in Mouila, Gabon, in 1946. He is the current President of the Central African Republic. Bozize is a career soldier, he attended a military college in the Central African Republic, and moved up steadily through the ranks to eventually become Brigadier General in 1978. Eventually he served has the Minister of Defense and eventually he was named as the army's Chief of Staff. He was also actively involved in most of the political developments of the Central African Republic, notably several coups.


In 2001 he became at odds with the then President Ange-Felix Patasse, he then led a rebellion and eventually seized power in 2003. He eventually won elections in 2005. The next elections set for April 2010 have yet to materialize.

Faustin-Archange Touadera was born in Bangui, Central African Republic, in 1957. He is the current Prime Minister of the Central African Republic. His education includes degrees from the University of Bangui and the University of Abidjan. He also holds two PhDs from the Lille University of Science and Technology and the University of Yaounde I. He was named as the Prime Minister of the Central African Republic in 2008.
