Current Situation
The Republic of the Congo is located in central Africa, it is bordered by Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola. The Republic of the Congo's economy is largely based on petroleum and services, although increasing exports of diamonds and natural gas are contributing.
