Biography:
Raul Castro was born in Biran, Cuba, in 1931. He is the current President of Cuba. He is the younger brother of Fidel Castro, Cuba's former president. He played an active role in the Cuban revolution alongside his brother. Following the revolution he stayed active inside Cuba's administration. He took over from his brother in 2006, but was only officially proclaimed president in 2008.
