Current Situation
Djibouti is located in the Horn of Africa, it is bordered by Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia. Djibouti's economy profits from port activities, but is still largely dependent on foreign assistance. A large portion of the population of Djibouti face food shortages and unemployment is very high.
