Biography
Bharrat Jagdeo was born in Unity Village, Guyana, in 1964. He is the current President of Guyana. He obtained a Master's in economics from a Russian university. He has been involved in politics most of his life and held the post of Minister of Finance before becoming the president, when the former president Janet Jagan resigned in 1999.
