Biography
Rene Preval was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, in 1943. He is the current President of Haiti. He studied business at the University of Leuven, and biology at the University of Pisa. He served as prime minister briefly in 1991, served as president from 1996 to 2001. He was elected president in 2006.
