Biography
Porfirio Lobo Sosa was born in Trujillo, Honduras, in 1947. He is the current President of Honduras. He obtained a degree in business administration from the University of Miami. He was first elected to the National Congress in 1990 and became its president from 2002 to 2006. He ran in the 2005 elections and lost to Manuel Zelaya. He ran again in the 2009 elections following the ousting of Manuel Zelaya and won this election and was proclaimed president in 2010.
