Current Situation

India is located in South Asia. India is bordered by Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Myammar, Nepal and Pakistan. It also shares close sea borders with the Maldives and Sri Lanka. India economy is growing at a high pace, but it's GDP per capita still has a long way to go. However once India has worked out its high poverty rates and high illiteracy rates it will be become a major economic player.
