Kosovo is bordered by Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. Kosovo's economy is under-developed. Because Kosovo is not internationally recognized it is finding it difficult to get foreign investment and loans. However, several projects in the mining and energy sectors are being developed.
