Biography
Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was born in 1929. He is the current Emir of Kuwait. Before becoming the Emir of Kuwait, he was foreign minister for 40 years. He became Emir in 2006, following the death of the previous Emir and the inability of the Crown Prince to take over, due to ill health.
