Lebanon is located in the Middle East. Lebanon is bordered by Israel and Syria. Lebanon's economic growth has suffered heavily from the latest war with Israel in 2006. The Lebanese government with the aid of the Lebanese army are trying to re-establish stability. Lebanon was once a financial and tourist hotspot in the Middle East, the government's latest efforts are too regain this status. However, with the recent conflict in the Gaza Strip, much uncertainty remains.
