Biography
Michel Suleiman was born in Amsheet, Lebanon, in 1948. He is the current President of Lebanon. He obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Lebanese University. Before joining politics he had an accomplished military career, in which he rose to become the commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces. He became president after being elected to the post in 2008.
