Current Situation
Liberia is located in West Africa. Liberia is bordered by Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea and Sierra Leone. Liberia has one of the highest unemployment rates in the world, its poverty rate is also extremely high. These two statistics can be blamed on a decade of civil wars, heavy debt and a major lack of infrastructure.
