Current Situation

Malta is located in Southern Europe. Malta is an island in the middle of Mediterranean Sea, it is about 100km's south of Italy. Malta has a very high GDP per capita. Malta's main industries are tourism, port services and manufacturing. Tourism will experience an increase thanks to Malta joining the Schengen agreement, making it easier for tourists from inside the EU to visit the island. Malta has also adopted the Euro recently.
