Mexico is located in North America. It is bordered by Belize, Nicaragua and the United States. Mexico's economy is one of the biggest in Latin America. The poverty rate in Mexico has declined over the past years and the economy has grown at a steady rate since the 1994 economic crisis. Mexico's tourism industry is one of the biggest in the world with 20 million tourists per year. Mexico has been hit hard by the economic crisis and due to its close ties to the United States, their performance will be affected by this relationship and how the United States performs.
