Current Situation

Norway is located in Northern Europe. It is bordered by Finland, Russia and Sweden. Norway's GDP per capita is one of the highest in the world. Norway's economy benefits from abundant natural resources, notably petroleum which amounts for approximately 20% of GDP. The government is doing a great job in using the revenues from the oil industry and investing it in other sectors and into pension plans, in order to sustain such a high income society.
