Biography
Bronislaw Komorowski was born in Oborniki Slaskie, Poland, in 1952. He is the current President of Poland. He studied at the University of Warsaw. Before becoming the President of Poland he was the Speaker of the Sejm or the Polish Lower House. On 10 April 2010 a plane carrying the President of Poland crashed in Russia and the president was killed, Bronislaw thus became acting president given his position as Speaker of the Sejm. An election was later held in the summer of 2010 and Bronislaw Komorowski defeated the former president's brother and was named president on 6 August 2010.
