Singapore is located in South Asia. It is bordered by Malaysia. Singapore has a very strong economy with a very high growth rate, however it is depended on foreign goods passing through its port installations and thus is subject to slower economic activity during a recession. Singapore is one of the busiest ports in the world. The manufacturing sector is also very developed with electronics being the largest contributor.
