Biography
Iveta Radicova was born in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 1956. She is the current and first female Prime Minister of Slovakia. She studied sociology at the Comenius University and eventually earned a PhD, she also studied at the University of Oxford. Before becoming prime minister and beginning her political career she was a professor of sociology. She became prime minister following the 2010 parliamentary elections, when her coalition won the majority of seats.
