Current Situation
Slovenia is located in Central Europe. Slovenia is bordered by Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Italy. Slovenia's economy has been growing at a steady pace since joining the European Union and adopting the Euro. However, many industries are still state run and this is slowing growth in certain sectors. Foreign investment is also low compared to other members of the European Union.
