Biography:

Danny Philip was born in Lokuru, Solomon Islands, in 1953. He is the current Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands. Before becoming prime minister he served four consecutive terms in the National Assembly of the Solomon Islands from 1984 to 2001. He won the 2010 general elections.
